Working Poor Tax Credit

An individual income tax credit is available for contributions that provide assistance to the working poor.

Arizona's Working Poor Tax Credit lets you make a dollar-for-dollar charitable contribution to 501(c)(3) corporations (nonprofits). You receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit of up to $400 for couples jointly filing or $200 for singles on your state income taxes while helping Angels On Call — at no additional cost to you. Donations are also deductible on your federal return.

Donate before the end of the year, get a receipt, then take that same amount off your state taxes for that year when you file. You decide where where some of your tax money goes!
